Ashley has approximately 10 years of experience in various fields including: internal audit, investigations, forensic accounting, and compliance monitoring. She started her career at a large retail pharmacy chain in 2013 as part of the Internal Assurance and Investigations team. She has also held roles at a private company assisting with human resources and payroll and a role at a managed services industry leader based in Philadelphia where she was responsible for budget forecasting, master data governance maintenance, providing support to internal audit, performing P&L reviews, and assisting with period end closing. Since joining Breon & Associates and merging with North American Forensic Accounting, Ashley has gained significant experience in forensic accounting and litigation support cases and has led internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance monitoring engagements for Fortune 500 companies

Select Case Experience
Ashley has a diverse background in investigations. She was part of a team tasked with enforcing rules and conducting investigations related to the Controlled Substances Act, specifically related to the illicit use of pseudoephedrine. Her cases consisted of conducting investigative phone interviews with retail pharmacy store associates to confirm or refute violations of company policies and federal laws. If a violation was identified, she would conduct training with employees or refer the case to Human Resources for review and sanctions. In addition, she performed continuous transaction monitoring of credit card transactions, and travel expense reporting where she assisted in follow up investigations.
Since joining North American Forensic Accounting, Ashley has assisted her colleagues in numerous forensic and litigation support cases. Most notably, she took part in two large wage and hour cases that consisted of gathering and interpreting data, designing a format and formula algorithm to help analyze the data, manually recalculating time records, and reporting on the outcome of the calculations. She has also provided significant support in cases related to investigating breach of fiduciary responsibility by a guardian, employee embezzlement, and business interruption.
