Select Case Experience

Ashley has a diverse background in investigations. She was part of a team tasked with enforcing rules and conducting investigations related to the Controlled Substances Act, specifically related to the illicit use of pseudoephedrine. Her cases consisted of conducting investigative phone interviews with retail pharmacy store associates to confirm or refute violations of company policies and federal laws. If a violation was identified, she would conduct training with employees or refer the case to Human Resources for review and sanctions. In addition, she performed continuous transaction monitoring of credit card transactions, and travel expense reporting where she assisted in follow up investigations.

Since joining North American Forensic Accounting, Ashley has assisted her colleagues in numerous forensic and litigation support cases. Most notably, she took part in two large wage and hour cases that consisted of gathering and interpreting data, designing a format and formula algorithm to help analyze the data, manually recalculating time records, and reporting on the outcome of the calculations. She has also provided significant support in cases related to investigating breach of fiduciary responsibility by a guardian, employee embezzlement, and business interruption.
